The HYER'S ENDLESS SUMMER FUNDRAISER

The Hyer's

Back in late September, the Hyer family turned a classic Marin County Indiana summer evening in San Anselmo, California  into a festive and enchanting pool side gathering under the stars with their Endless Summer Fundraiser! 🌅✨

We were thrilled to host our inaugural private Baja party with "TJ" (Tim) & Suzzie for their endless summer fundraiser to support San Anselm's school here in San Anselmo California. The Baja Bar was born in the fall of 23, and made its debut that summer for Live On The Avenue in San Anselmo, a summer weekend festival that runs through September. The Baja Bar made its way here from the Gold Coast of Florida where the Hyer's reign from, but that's another story! The Baja Bar has become quite the Vacation vibe to San Anselmo's Live on the Avenue and has quickly made lots of friends with its moving spirit, serving fresh hand crafted margaritas & cocktails on the GO, the feeling is Baja California, warm sand, sunsets, disco & good friends. Back to the story...in short, it was the last two weeks of Live On The Avenue, and TJ approached us with his Endless Summer event planning vision, in wanting the Baja Bar...it was really cool as he told me, "hey Matteo I know that you have your commitment to the avenue party's, but if I would consider not being on the avenue for that one party night and doing the Endless summer fundraiser party that would be so cool"!! And that part earlier about another story how the Baja made it to California, Via Palm Beach...well when I Taco Janes Hibiscus Margaritawas looking for a Mexican Palapa style bar, "TJ" suggested just the thing..Tiki which resonated in its similarity to me, the links were sent, and the rest was a wrap...

The Baja Bar was right at home at the edge of the Hyer's pool with Mount Tam looming high above it. The music was steel drums and reggae with a constant rock steady pulse, the food was Puerto Rican, the cocktail program was Baja, curated to a tropical theme that the Hyer's requested...from tangy watermelon margaritas, to spicy margaritas infused with habanero, Tequila highballs limed up in a tahini salted rims, flowing over with Agua Piedra sparkling water. Yup it was a super fun vibe, with enchanting lit up tree's & swings and fire pits. It was a true pleasure for the Baja Bar to be a quiet witness of the Hyer's guests enjoying themselves and reconnecting with each other after the summer break, while getting ready for the upcoming school year. And for some I don't think that they were quite ready for the summer to end, choosing to let loose putting on swimsuits and jumping into the midnight lit pool...cannonballing and splashing anyone that was close to the pool, which I think added some fun excitement to those that were pool side...and the host choosing for the high dive effect with no splash , and toes pointed of coarse!

And as the laughter faded, and the the pool came still, this lively gathering marked the end of a spectacular summer and the Baja Bars first private event, but it also was a beautiful display of the community coming together, and making waves for things that matter and having a blast doing it! 🎉🌟
